At the LONDRA PALACE, the charm and luxury of a historic hotel are complemented by modern comforts and facilities. Since 1853, the LONDRA PALACE, with its 100 windows overlooking the San Marco Basin, has been the favorite meeting place for artists, people of culture, travelers and tourists who appreciate places that are authentic and not tied to the spirit of the time. It’s DO LEONI RESTAURANT (at the moment available only for private events) focuses on creative dishes, prepared with attention paid to local raw materials, and important wine selections. There is its bistrot version, the BISTROT BY DO LEONI: a simple, innovative, and complete proposal based on the search for seasonal, territorial, and fresh products, maintaining firmly the values and quality that always distinguish the Do Leoni. IN THE HEART of the lagoon city, the privilege of being in Venice is best experienced with a stay at the LONDRA PALACE. The Hotel is located right on the Riva degli Schiavoni, a few steps from Piazza San Marco, the Bridge of Sighs, and other famous places, as well as from the most hidden and authentic corners of the city of the Serenissima. The reception staff is always happy to provide guests with personalized suggestions. The LONDRA PALACE offers 53 rooms, each different from the other, characterized by elegant tapestries, brocades, and marble bathrooms. Each room is unique: the view overlooks either the San Marco Basin and the Lagoon, or the fascinating rooftops and bell towers of the historic center. Each space of the LONDRA PALACE has been designed to instill emotions and a sense of well-being in the guests. The bright and renovated lounges on the ground floor interact with the outside through the transparency of the glass, which brings the memory of Tchaikovsky's stay in the hotel. The veranda on the Riva degli Schiavoni is the ideal place to sip one of the delicious cocktails prepared by the barmen, enjoy lunch or dinner, have a tea, or simply relax. A stay in room 106 offers a taste of history. Here, in December 1877, the Russian composer Tchaikovsky wrote the first three movements of the Symphony No. 4, originally entitled "DO LEONI". Some other famous guests that the hotel has had the honor of hosting are Jules Verne, Gabriele D'Annunzio, Jorge Luis Borges and Iosif Brodskij.
